Shipping & Returns

General Shipping

  • Orders ship Monday-Friday.

  • Your card is not charged until the item has been packed for shipment.

  • Some items may ship separately.

  • Some items can't be shipped internationally these restrictions will be marked on the product page.

When will I get my order?

  • In-stock orders normally ship within 1-2 business days. Some items may take longer if they are manufactured at the time of order (Some Filmcells and Standees). These items will normally ship within 5 business days.

Tracking

An email with tracking information will be sent once an order has been shipped (with most carriers). You can also track your package from your Account page. Tracking is not available on International Economy.

FAQ

Free US Standard Shipping on orders $75+

The Next Best Thing provides free standard shipping for orders over $75 to an address in the contiguous U.S. (no PO boxes). This discount will be shown as a shipping choice at checkout (FREE SHIPPING). Please note that the FREE SHIPPING options allows us to pick the most economical means of shipping, and items could take 5-10 business days to arrive.

Shipping Multiple orders

Multiple orders placed on the same day cannot be combined.

Shipping to Multiple Locations

Unfortunately, we cannot split up an order and ship to multiple locations. If you wish to send items to different locations, you will need to place a separate order for each shipping address.

Address Changes

Unfortunately, we do not have the ability to change the shipping address once an order goes into processing. If you have caught your mistake directly after purchase, please contact us via email or phone and we will try to accommodate the address change if we are able.

Domestic (U.S.) Shipping

Contiguous U.S.

  • For orders to the contiguous U.S. (lower 48 states), we offer Economy Shipping, Standard Shipping, and Fed Ex services.

AK, HI, and PR

  • Fed Ex and USPS services are available. Unfortunately, we cannot ship to PO Boxes in any of these locations. Rates are calculated through the carriers.

PO Boxes

  • Orders weighing less than 70 pounds can be sent through the United States Postal Service. We cannot ship to PO Boxes outside of the contiguous U.S.

International Shipping

  • We currently ship to the United States, Canada and United Kingdom. Sadly these are the only locations the we currently ship to. We can on occasion accommodate an International Shipping request. Please contact us through out contact form in order to request a quote. Please include exact shipping address along with the items you are intending to purchase.

  • For Canada and United Kingdom shipments, we offer services through USPS and Fed Ex.

Customs Fees

  • Customs fees (taxes, duties, processing fees, brokerages fees, etc.) may be charged upon delivery and required to obtain your order.

  • These fees are NOT included in your shipping charges.

  • We are not able to mark orders as "gifts".

  • We do not issue any refunds for customs fees, shipping, or the cost of your order should you refuse to pay the customs fees.

  • The Next Best Thing has no way of estimating customs fees, taxes, duties, etc. Please contact your local customs office if you need to know more.

Restrictions

Items with shipping restrictions are noted on the product page. All shipping restrictions are for legal reasons, not under our control.

Online Returns

 

Need to return an item? We do accept returns for items within 14 days of receipt of merchandise. 

 

  • We require an RMA  for each item being returned.
  • Returned items must be in original condition, including tags, booklets, and labels.
  • Refund will be issued according to original payment method. You may request an exchange or store credit if you prefer.
  • You will be responsible for return shipping costs of non defective merchandise
  • 15% restocking fee applies to non-defective merchandise

 

How to return an item

1. Log in to The Next Best Thing , then go to My Account.

2. Go to Completed Orders, then click Return Item(s) next to their item.

3. Fill out the following items on the return request:

  • Quantity to return
  • Return reason
  • Return action optional
  • Comments optional

4. Click Submit Return Request.

You will be contacted within 48 hours with your approval, RMA number and return insructions. If the return is due to defective or damaged  merchandise a return shipping label will be issued to you.
